Cream & Golden Crele Legbar hatching eggs available! Legbars are an autosexing, blue egg-laying breed.
Our roosters are Cream Legbars from Greenfire Farms 2023 import (which are tested homozygous for the blue egg gene).
Hens are bred from our own stock which include blood lines from Cackle hatchery and Cream Legbar Club members. They are a mature flock averaging around 2-3 years old. You will not be receiving pullet eggs. About half of the hens are cream and half are golden crele (which may be carrying cream, thus increasing the likelihood of hatching cream chicks). This does not affect autosexing or egg color.
Eggs are checked regularly and are at 100% fertility. We do not guarantee hatch rates as this is affected by external factors during incubation. However, in our own incubators (Hovabator models) we generally get around 75% hatch rate.
