This morning, a crazy wind and rain storm rolled in. The infamous agave stalk was still standing this morning. But when I arrived home, it was a whole different story. The good news, no fatalities to report.

July 29, 2025 - with netting now in place to prevent bird and bee damage, we are ready for a successful harvest. The next 5-6 weeks will to be an exciting countdown as sugar levels rise, laying the groundwork for a beautiful yield.

During the netting process, we discovered this baby bird. We left the top portion open hoping Momma bird will hear the chirping and come to the rescue 🥺
