Connelly Farms is run by Mother & Son duo, Ann & Ryan Connelly. From the very beginning “Not the Most...Simply the Best” has been our motto.

Over the years "The Farm", as it became known by family and friends, has evolved and changed but still maintaines its ideals of freshness and quality. We started scratching the ground on our Ramona farm (a former turkey ranch) growing vegetables and fruits to sell directly to consumers in 1985. By ‘95 we were selling to 32 fine dining restaurants as well as San Diego Farmers Markets around the cou

nty. In 2005 following the family tradition of freshness continued 21st century style. In 2010 Ryan graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Plant Science.

Hot but we’re here. Lots of different tomatoes and our purple striped eggplant are starting in. The most tender I’ve ever had. I just slice them and lightly fry them. Along with some sautéed and onions can be a main course for dinner. The skin is so thin you don’t need to peel them. Fast and easy. Saturdays 9:00-2:00.

Normally mild mannered ducks turn into land piranhas. Those rounded little beaks are ruthless!! Eggs at the stand today!

More melons and tomatoes for Saturday. Sugar content 5-6% above the cantaloupe. Lots of colors on the tomatoes too. Make a high contrast tomato salad. Saturdays 9:00-2:00 or call us mid week at 760 712-6182 and we’ll put your order together.

We have a lot of Ogen melons ready to be eaten; some people call them Ha-Ogen but they’re all the same. These melons are incredibly sweet and delicious. Sugar standard on a standard cantaloupe is 8-9%. The Ogens are 14-16% sugar. And they taste like it. Call us at 760 712-6182 and we’ll put yours in the ice chest out front for you to pick up.

Lots more melons today. Ogen, galia, petite Gris de Rennes. Good quantities but to be sure I’m holding back one French melon for the lady that missed out last week. You know who you are. Saturdays 9:00-2:00.

If anyone has a boat, you better bring it. We have a boatload of melons. Mostly Ogen and Galia but some French Breakfast Melons mixed in. All of them have superior sweetness.
