On the Fourth of July, Fiona leaked a puddle of green fluid and I knew she was miscarrying. Heartbroken I put her on “bed rest” and waited.

By July 5th nothing more happened, so I monitored her for a fever and any more discharge.

By July 6th I was feeling babies move and she was acting 💯 normal.

And then she never looked back but did enjoy the extra pampering.

Tuesday morning my son discovered she’d had a healthy litter of puppies unassisted.

Three girls and five boys ❤️

Fiona and her babies are doing fabulous, and we are overjoyed at our happy ending this July.
