With all of the hotter weather this year, we will be picking historically early. However, the grapes are actually hanging longer into their sweetness this year.

As a farmer, it’s great to have them looking “perfect” on the vine, but it is far more important for them to be “perfect” in the glass.

They are just about ready to go off to Bernardo Winery with “perfect” in mind! First two harvests are August 29 & 30.

This is how we follow the Bearing Fruit journey with Charity Water… on our Jerry Can.

Each country noted contains a village with the number of people that have received clean water from a well that has been sole-sponsored by the Bearing Fruit Foundation.

The reports to us by Charity Water, and noted with those numbers, are completed and in service. 4468 people in third world countries now have access to clean water. More are coming online & more are to be funded… it’s a part of the Bearing Fruit Foundation mission.

AN UNEXPECTED GUEST…
I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you about our visitor to the Vineyard Farmhouse a couple of times earlier this summer. Our visitor was quite unexpected, but didn’t stay long.

If our visitor decides to return, it sure would be nice to get a bit of a warning. These first two visits came in the middle of the day, but fortunately no lunch was involved 😳 🐆
