12 oz spaghetti

6 tbsp Lemon EVOO

2-3 lemons, sliced

2 cups thinly sliced yellow onion

Celtic salt to taste

5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

¾ tsp turmeric

½ tsp chili flakes

½ tsp ground coriander

½ tsp black pepper

½ cup chopped fresh oregano

Lemon zest, and finished with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese for that perfect savory touch!

Our fresh 2024 Arbequina harvest is so delicious in this easy to make bread dipping appetizer. We got this recipe from our friends over at Midwest Foodie. Infused with herbs, garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese. This makes for the easiest bread dipping combo you’ve ever had! Best enjoyed with French bread and a big glass of red wine!

Happy National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Day!

There are actually multiple days to celebrate olives and olive oil. National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Day is celebrated on September 30th, this day recognizes the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil and the craftsmanship that goes into making it. The International Olive Council first celebrated this day in 2019. EVOO is processed less than other olive oils, so it retains more of its natural antioxidants, vitamins and polyphenols.

National Olive Day is celebrated on June 1st, this day recognizes the olive, one of the world's oldest fruits. Olives are a traditional part of meze or tapas, a culinary experience that brings people together to share time and food

We love getting our pizza fix any way we can, and these low carb pizza stuffed peppers are a favorite way to go about it. We top ours with pepperoni and olives, but you could use whatever toppings you like best on pizza.

4 bell peppers any color
1 pound ground beef
8 ounces mild or hot Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic minced
16 ounces sugar free marinara divided
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
¼ cup sliced black olives
1 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
16 slices pepperoni
Fresh parsley for garnish
Red pepper flakes for garnish

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice peppers in half from top to bottom and remove seeds and membranes.
Spread half of the marinara in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish. Arrange peppers over the top, cut side up.
Add the ground beef and sausage to a skillet over medium heat and cook until browned, crumbling the beef as it cooks.
Add the garlic and olive oil and cook for 1 minute more.
Drain the grease and add the remaining marinara to the skillet along with the Italian seasoning. Stir to coat.
Spoon the filling evenly between the peppers and top with the cheese, olives, and pepperoni.
Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 15 minutes or until peppers are tender-crisp.
Sprinkle with minced parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
