I’m excited to share that lost creek acres will be bringing produce in to Louisville one again starting on May 12 at Rainbow Blossom from 12-4.
Unfortunately we withdrew from the New Albany market for the summer season. You can still find lovely veg from Boxcar Acres and Five Acre Farm.

Come see us in May.

We’ll be taking a break tomorrow so we can spend the day cleaning up and planting. Look for us next week.

Lost Creek Acres is beginning the search for help for the 2021 growing season.
We are a small scale Produce farm in Southern Indiana, 30 Minutes drive from Downtown New Albany. We produce a wide variety of vegetables and flowers for our CSA shares and Farmers Markets through intensive, low impact land management.
A position on our farm will begin part time in early March, and will grow to full time hours by mid April, and will last through the end of October. Tasks will include: Nursery work, planting, pruning, trellising, harvest, and w**d management.
An ideal candidate will have some knowledge or skill background in vegetable gardening, will be forward thinking, punctual, flexible, and be resilient in all manner of weather.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Interested parties can send a resume with a cover letter detailing how a Summer in service to a small farm would forward their individual long term goals to [[email protected]].
Please put 2021forgrowth in the subject header.

Hi Folks,

As CSA programs across the region hit capacity, and with so many folks finding them selves in new financially disadvantaged positions, I wanted to remind people that this organization has been building itself up over the years on the grounds that everyone deserves access to fresh locally sourced food, regardless of economic standing.
They still have shares available for lower income individuals and families.
If anyone you know is struggling to make ends meet, or wanting to participate in something good, consider passing along their website. They will need more volunteers this year to help pack shares ahead of pick up.
If you aren't in need yourself but would like to help out, consider reaching out to them to see where you can fit in.

The New Albany Farmers' Market will be suspended for the next two weeks.
It's the right decision and we support the Develop New Albany and City leadership for making the call.
See you in April!
