Red wine gets its color (and its structure) from grape skins left in contact with the juice during fermentation ~ the longer that contact, the deeper the color and the bolder the tannins. Serve it slightly below room temp, around 60~65°F, and give it a few minutes to breathe. That short wait does more for your glass than you’d think.
