Two weeks until the Minnesota State Fair!!! 🎡☀️
With the countdown officially on, we thought it would be fun to take a little trip down memory lane and look back at some of the different booths that we have had over the years.
From our early days to where we are today, every booth has been part of the journey and we are so grateful for all of the memories!
And now... we are getting ready for a brand new chapter at the Summer Lakes Boat House! Two weeks, Minnesota. We'll see you at the Fair! ☀️⚓️
1. Our first year as a Marketplace vendor in a 10x20 tent at the new North End of the Fair. We provided samples to guests and sold bottles of our one and only Bootleg Cocktail Mix.
2. Moved locations in 2021 and grew into a 20x20 tent to became a concessions booth selling full-sized mocktail drinks to guests. Our offerings grew to seven flavors (including three State Fair exclusive flavors!). The structure was designed to make our space look like a Minnesota cabin.
3. A overnight storm and straightline winds took down our booth in the early morning hours of August 27, 2024. This is what we drove into that morning. It was a very sad day. There was a lot of damage on the fairgrounds, which caused a delay in opening the fair that day. I believe we may have been hit the hardest. 😞
4. Our team sprung into action and with approval from the fair, safely took down the damaged booth. Although our tent and structure were destroyed beyond repair, we are extremely proud that we were up and running by 1pm that day in a temporary space. 🙌
5. For 2025, we moved to a new location at "Street Eats" on the corner of Underwood St. and Randall Ave. We set up a 20x20 tent since we knew that we were already selected to build a permanent building for 2026. This was still a secret though, so we had to keep this exciting news under wraps! So hard to do because it was SO exciting! 😊
6. Welcome to the Summer Lakes Boat House! A 2,700 square foot building positioned on 9,000 square foot gathering space. We will serve delicious food items, cocktails, mocktails and beer, and have live entertainment all 12 days!
