Last Thursday I joined the who’s who of our county at the Ontario Convention Center: corporate leaders, elected county and city officials, and county employees representing their departments.

This year’s theme marked the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in San Bernardino County. The evening honored the companies that helped write our history, and the ones carrying it into the future.

I’ll admit I was hoping to hear more county statistics, but being in the room to celebrate this milestone in the county where I live and do business was well worth it. It was great to reconnect with longtime business connections and make some new friends.

Here’s to the next 100 years, San Bernardino County! 🍷

We’re hearing how important the midterms are nationwide but local elections are just as important. This year, the council seat in District 2 and the mayor positions are up for election. Our current mayor is retiring so this is an important election in Rancho Cucamonga. For me, it’s double important because I am a resident and business owner in the city. As a business owner, I’ve learned the hard way about how city politics can help or hurt my business. I feel that the current city council does not listen to small businesses (unanswered emails) and they don’t support them (no small business grants like other nearby cities).
I wanted to make sure I was here to learn about each candidate’s platform and to hear about what my neighbors are concerned about. I learned so much!
I highly encourage all residents, especially business owners to become involved in what’s happening locally. This is one of the biggest ways that we can make a difference.

PART 2 🥂🍾 Because the night just kept getting better…

Just when I thought we couldn’t possibly have any more Ch*****ne…out came TWO desserts and, of course, more Veuve Clicquot. 😂🥂

The perfect ending to an incredible evening.

But one of my favorite parts of the night wasn’t just what was in the glass. It was the people around it. ❤️

We mixed, mingled, laughed, took entirely too many pictures 😂, enjoyed those last glasses of Ch*****ne and walked away with new w**e friends and some pretty unforgettable memories.

Great w**e has a way of bringing people together, and nights like this remind me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place. 🍾

And for everyone waiting on the story about me not believing who I was talking to… 😂😂

I’ve decided THAT story is better told in person.

You’ll have to come hang out with me at W**e Now! and ask me about it. 😉🥂

Until then…cheers to incredible experiences, new w**e friends and nights you wish didn’t have to end. ✨🍾

PART 1 🥂 Because there were WAY too many amazing moments for one reel…

What. A. Night. ✨

There are very few experiences that truly take my breath away, but this was Veuve Clicquot, and they know how to create an unforgettable experience.

I had the opportunity to meet the President & CEO, the w**emaker, AND the U.S. President of Veuve Clicquot sat at my table for dinner. No words… 🥂

And the food and Ch*****ne? BEYOND.

Ch*****ne upon arrival. Ch*****ne paired with every course. Ch*****ne between courses. Ch*****ne with TWO desserts. Ch*****ne just flowing everywhere.

I was officially in Ch*****ne heaven. 🍾🥂✨

And there’s so much more to share, which is exactly why this is only Part 1.

Also… there’s a very funny story about me not believing the President of Veuve Clicquot when he told me who he was. 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Should I tell that story in Part 2? 👀
