With the hot and sticky weather continuing, it is the little things in life like getting window screens for the ranch office and bathroom that make it a little easier. Can now open the windows without birds or bugs flying in to cool it all off.

6 of the new jumps are out in the Jumper 1 arena. There are 2 additional jumps and 8 more PVC poles on order with a blue liverpool. 2 of the new jumps and walls went to the Jumper 2 arena.

Nothing like unboxing and assembling new jumps in the heat and humidity. Now we just need to get some screws in them all so the end caps stay on next.

A added benefit about removing dying trees is the free mulch that can be added to some planters at the ranch.

It is amazing how 3/8” gravel helps cut down the dust. Added it to the front of some cross ties and wash racks that were getting muddy.

I hate to cut down a tree, but it was a eucalyptus tree and right next to the hay barn. It was in front of the tree in the photo. Felt it was needed for fire protection and so glad we did it as the bottom of the trunk was hollow which means the tree was already dying.

A new ranch investment for the 500 gallon water tank trailer that was purchased last week. Just need to figure out how to fit this into the daily watering schedule for the 5 arenas with the 1,000 gallon water tank and tractor.
