About Me

While growing up as a young girl my great grandmother Lue Willie Owens owned and operated a restaurant on Leaden Hall & Hamburg St. I loved spending the weekends with her. So I could eat her homemade fried chicken with her special batter. Her sweet potatao pies were 25 cents and they were delicious. Everyone loved going to Shugg’s restaurant to enjoy her good cooking. My desire was to always follow in her foot steps. I always loved to cook and bake for my family. June of 2014 I decided to go to culinary school. May of 2015 I graduated from Lincoln Tech Culinary Institute in Columbia, MD.
