VT we ship the finest dairy to Organic Valley & offer quality hay for sale yearly. We welcomed the mini cattle in 2023 and will offer mini babies for Christmas of 2025!

We had some visitors from North Carolina this weekend up to visit their new baby Nina. We couldn’t be happier to announce that she’s going to join her half sister Noel at Wild Tales Farm in early October ❤️ Congrats to all 🎉

Baby girl updates 🎀
She’s perfect and doing so well. Priscilla is continuing to be a great mom and her aunties are getting over the fact that they don’t get all the attention anymore.

Pictures can’t capture how tiny she is so you’ll have to take our word for it 🤭

She has a secured home and a name but we will keep that all secret for now but we couldn’t be more excited about what her future holds 🩷

Priscilla blessed us with a perfect in every way baby girl this week!

So thankful that nature worked as designed and mama and baby are doing so great. Very proud of Priss for being a great mom and her aunties are also keeping a watchful eye on baby girl.

One of our your girls “Nell” has been a part of a 4H group this summer and she spent the weekend off the farm at County Days.
We love getting the good reports after these weekends and making these events possible for kiddos who don’t have cattle in their backyards. Cattle teach lessons that no classroom can and we are happy we can help provide that and hopefully put the love for these creatures in the youth to keep carrying out these traditions ❤️

Has that farmer gone mad? Why is he mowing his field in such weird patterns?

Incase you’ve been wondering all of the above here’s the answer….. no he hasn’t gone mad 😉

They are saving the high and dry areas to make extra dry hay for top quality square bales. To make those you need dry ground and hot dry weather, so that’s why the fields have looked so uneven. We cut the more wet areas for chopped grass to go in the silo because that can still contain moisture versus a dry square bale that we want no moisture at all.

Hoping for a stretch of dry hot weather to wrap up first cut cause second cut has already started in other areas and being behind due to weather and breakdowns sure do stress the farmers out.

So here’s to sunshine and lots of square bales! ☀️☀️☀️☀️
