Monro Hill Vineyard

Monro Hill Vineyard Monro Hill Vineyard boasts over six varieties of cold-weather wine grape varieties, naturally grown on a hillside in the central Vermont area

Monro Hill Vineyard is named after the forefathers of the east Randolph Center area, who petitioned the state at the turn of the twentieth century to create another township in our vineyard’s namesake, because of the distances they had to travel to vote. The new town was never realized, but their efforts are honored through our work today in this tight knit farming community. The vineyard graces t

he top of a hillside that looks over the mountains that surround the downtown Randolph and Bethel areas, and is easily spotted from the valley that serves as Crocker Road. We have more than six different varieties of cold weather grapes, all almost a decade established. For white wine grapes we offer primarily La Crescent, in addition to rows of test vines, using the newest developed varieties available. For red wine grapes we offer St. Croix, Frontenac and Marquette.
