Little farm update because we have been slacking on the Facebook posts.

The laying chickens run has been expanded to include the goat pasture and the goats have been destroying all things that we call weeds and brush. They will be need a pasture expansion shortly.

The meat chickens will all be off to the butcher in the next week. So if you pre-ordered chicken they will be ready shortly.

The cows are all enjoying pasture, we breed several in the last week and we should be expecting some new babies here shortly.

Little Eggs!!

Little eggs can only mean one thing. Our newest batch of chickens have started laying! This means our egg production is going to increase in the coming weeks. If you would like to purchase a dozen or possibly get on weekly or biweekly pickup schedule let us know and we can make it happen. $3 per dozen.

Our second group of meat chickens have arrived. This group we are going to try and do a weekly update on.

We’ve gotten so many questions on how we can do so many meat, chickens, and how they are different from laying hens. So our goal is every Wednesday or Thursday because they arrived this past Wednesday. We are going to do a weekly update of where they are know. Some fun facts about me chickens are they grow incredibly fast so from the time they show these cute little chicks that hatched a day to two days prior to Wednesday so they hatched like Sunday Monday and shipped on Tuesday arrive to us on a Wednesday there were just over 200 of them. And in 8 to 9 short weeks, they will be ready for the freezer so follow along to see how drastically different meat Chickens are from laying chickens and should just message if you have any questions

Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!

We now have eggs available. It is a limited supply as we only get 6-8 per day but Farmer Jeff doesn’t quite eat that many. They are clean but unwashed. So they should last at least 3 weeks if not longer.

$3 per dozen. Just shoot as a message about picking them up or maybe we can drop them off.
