Make Do Farm is moving!

We met Jeremy from at the SoRo Farmer's Market last summer. We share a vision of collaborative farming so we're giving it a go!

Currently that looks like us helping with chicken, cow and sheep chores, supporting the power and water line build out, building a tiny house on wheels, and planning for the shared farm future!

Rayna joined the Birdsong Farm team this season after many years managing the Bread and Butter CSA.

Birdsong Farm veggies are delicious and grown in a regenerative, no till system. They still have a few openings for CSA shares and you can find their veggies at the Rochester and South Royalton Farmer's Markets.

We'll raise turkeys again this year and we'll tag along to some farmers markets with your favorite gf baked goods and lactoferments, sauces and pickles:)

Common yellowthroat got into the woodshed somehow and I saw him fluttering against the windowpanes. Luckily he was easy to catch and release!

The second ewe we bought lambed on schedule with beautiful triplets! The two ewe lambs are pretty shades of brown tightly curled wool with distinctive faces and and ram lamb has a lovely long fluffy cream colored wool with brown accents:)

mom is doing a great job mothering all three!

Six more mamas should lamb in the next few days!
