Bossie Cow Farm We specialize in providing pasture-raised grass-fed beef and organic eggs to our local community. Know your farmer, know your food!

We are a small family run certified organic farm that raises our cattle and chickens on our lush green pastures. We sell our products direct from our farm to you. We are very passionate about our regenerative way of farming, and we appreciate being able to share our farm life and farm products with you.

The first calf of 2026 has finally arrived on Bossie Cow Farm! Look at this little cutie!

When you’re the first calf to arrive in a herd of 60 cows, you also get 60 moms! 😂 If you look closely though, her actual mom is right there (cow #353).

We are a fully seasonal dairy, meaning that all our cows have their calves in the late summer/fall. This also means we have not been milking cows since July; all cows get a milking break prior to calving (called being a dry cow) for a couple months, as they get ready to calve again. It gives the cows and the farmers a nice summer break!

We are hosting a pasture walk this Thursday Sept 10th to highlight some of the new technology we’ve incorporated into our farm management this year. It’s called virtual fencing, and it uses GPS signals and solar-powered collars to move the animals for rotational grazing. If you’re interested in learning how this works on a livestock farm (dairy or cattle), please RSVP (number is on the flyer) to attend.

Come support local 4-H kids at the 2026 Small Animal Auction at the Sheboygan County fair! Auction is Monday at 12pm!

Our daughter Ava had one of her beautiful Salmon Faverolle roosters selected to be sold at this auction, and we would love to see other local businesses come and support these kids and the hard work they put into their animal projects. Bossie Cow Farm will be there bidding on other animals, but we can’t buy hers, so please come help her out and bid on her animal. It’s a fun time, and great advertisement for your business! For those of you that don’t know, our farm goat Nugget was purchased at this auction several years back. The bidding was fierce and so fun! The money raised goes to the students and supporting 4-H.

It’s county fair time!! Come visit us at the Sheboygan County Fair!

If you’re headed to our local county fair this weekend, be sure to stop in the goat barn and poultry barn to find our Bossie Cow Farm critters! The goats (Jazz, Claire, and Cosmo) love head scratches, especially Jazz. Post a pic here if you get to show them some love! ❤️

Youth in 4-H and FFA put in an amazing amount of time and effort to get their projects animals to the fair. Please support these students by showing up, asking questions, and enjoying what they have worked so hard on all year long!

I ask her every day why she chose to lay her eggs in the open grass. What is more surprising is that no one has stepped on them (or her) yet!

Moving the chicken coop in wildfire smoke.

The wildfire smoke from northern Minnesota and Canada returned again today on the farm, making for less than ideal air quality conditions and reduced visibility. But farm chores and farm life outdoors continues. So come with me as I move our mobile chicken schooner across the summer pastures. The girls get to enjoy beautiful pastures at least!
