🌻 Grown, Not Flown — Freshly Picked for Eastland Today! 🌻

The fields are absolutely showing off, and we’ve just loaded up the truck with vibrant, freshly cut bouquets headed straight to the Eastland Farmers Market.

When we say “grown, not flown,” we mean it: every single stem was planted, nurtured, and harvested right here in our soil—not cut weeks ago and shipped across the globe. You’re getting the freshest, longest-lasting blooms possible, straight from our farm to your table.

Bouquet highlights today include:
🌻 Sunflowers bringing that classic Texas sunshine
🌸 Snapdragons for tall, elegant height and color
🌿 Yarrow + Zinnias for texture and rich, vibrant tones
🖤 Moody Scabiosa (pincushion flowers) with striking dark centers
🌸 Sweet Peas + Airy Queen Anne’s Lace for that perfect cottage-garden feel

Whether you need a centerpiece for Sunday dinner, a meaningful gift, a bright “just because” surprise, or simply a little beauty on the kitchen counter to carry you through the week, these bouquets are ready to brighten your day. They’re grown locally for better freshness and vase life, and every stem you take home supports real farmers and keeps your dollars in our community.

🗓️ Today — Sunday, May 31st
⏰ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 Maverick Stadium Parking Lot (900 E Main St, Eastland, TX)

Quantities are limited since they’re cut fresh—come early and grab your favorites! 💐🙌

🌻 Freshly Picked for Sunday: Here’s What’s Hitting the Tables! 🫜
We’ve been out in the fields washing and packing for the Eastland Farmers Market on Sunday (5/31/26). If you want the best selection of fresh, no-till produce, come out early — these are the kind of vegetables that build meals fast.

Take a look at the photo to see the colors hitting the tables at 12:00 PM, and a few easy ways to use each:

🇯🇵 Hakurei Turnips
• Slice raw with a little salt + lemon (or dip like an apple)
• Quick stir-fry with garlic/soy
• Roast wedges with olive oil until sweet

🌻 Single-Stem Sunflowers
• One stem in a small vase = instant kitchen counter joy
• Add to your own bouquet at home
• Gift a stem to a neighbor/teacher (easy and sweet)

🥗 Fusion Leaf Lettuce
• Big chopped salad base for the week
• Pile onto sandwiches/burgers for crisp crunch
• Toss with oil + vinegar + salt for a fast side salad

🥬 Sunland Romaine Lettuce
• Classic Caesar salads
• Romaine “boats” for chicken/egg salad or taco fillings
• Chop for meal-prep salads (stays crunchy)

💛 Bolder Gold Beets
• Roast, peel, and slice for bowls or salads (no red staining!)
• Cube and pan-crisp for a side dish
• Shred raw into slaw for a sweet crunch

🪻 Purple Cauliflower
• Roast florets until caramelized
• Mash like potatoes (but prettier)
• Sheet-pan dinner with chicken/sausage + onions

🍆 Melanzane Sott’olio
• Spoon onto sourdough with cheese
• Toss into pasta or grain bowls
• Add to eggs, sandwiches, or charcuterie boards

🥬 Tiara Cabbage
• Fresh summer slaw (lime + salt + a little mayo or oil)
• Quick stir-fry with garlic and sesame
• Slice and roast like little cabbage “steaks”

💜 Felicia Radishes
• Glaze in a hot pan/wok until tender-crisp
• Roast for a mellow, almost sweet bite
• Thin-slice raw into tacos, salads, or sandwiches

From the Wok to the Ramen Bowl: Meet the Felicia Radish! 🍜

If you think radishes are only meant to be sliced thin and tossed onto a cold salad, your kitchen is about to get a major upgrade this Thursday night!

Last night in the farmhouse kitchen, we took a bunch of our freshly harvested Felicia Radishes—known for their stunning purple color and long, slender shape—and whipped up an incredible, sweet-and-spicy glazed ramen topping.

When you braise and reduce them right in a wok, they lose that sharp raw bite, absorbing the savory glaze while keeping a perfect tender-crisp texture. They are an absolute game-changer for a hot bowl of noodles or served up as a standout side dish.

Want to make it at home tonight? Grab a bunch at the market and follow this simple recipe:

The Ultimate Glazed Felicia Radish Topping
Serves 1
Ingredients:

1 bunch Felicia Radishes
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp sriracha
2 tsp sugar (or honey)

Instructions:

1. Prep: Wash the radishes and slice them completely in half lengthwise.
2. Cook: Add the sliced radishes and all the remaining ingredients directly into a wok or deep pan over medium-high heat.
3. Glaze: Bring the mixture to a boil. Toss the radishes often, letting the liquid reduce until it becomes a rich, sticky glaze that coats them perfectly.
4. Serve: Slide them right on top of your favorite bowl of hot ramen, or serve them as a savory side dish!
