So your sweet baby is turning one—congratulations! This is the absolute cutest (and yes, messiest) way to make this important milestone a memorable one!

So, what is a smash cake? It’s just a small cake that’s made specifically for a baby’s first birthday to do whatever they want with it (which usually ends up being a lot of pounding, smooshing and eating).

Pictured here is a simple vanilla vanilla small three layer cake, with homemade hand-whipped buttercream frosting and frosting in between layers. Finger licking good!

This order was asked to have the cake look like a birch slab of tree.. theme was “Wild for One”. How cute is that??
