This Beautiful photo was taken by one of our amazing land owners. It is too gorgeous to not share! Thank you Kelly!

Although we also lost a lot in some of our other fields due to flooding—**a lot**—we didn’t complain. We just put our heads down and pushed through.

Now, here we are, looking at acres and acres of pumpkins that are doing so incredibly well. We were nervous, to say the least.

That’s farming. You never truly know what’s coming. You can’t predict the weather, and you definitely can’t control it. All you can do is roll with the punches, work hard, and pray for the best.

Farming is not for the weak or simple-minded. Believe me, it is hard, stressful, exhausting, and incredibly time-consuming. Many people try, and many people fail. It strains families and places a hold on finances.

But my husband...
He keeps moving forward. He works through the setbacks, strives to do the very best he can, and does it all without complaining.

So, to you, it may just be a field of pumpkins.

But to us, it is months of preparation, countless hours of work, sleepless nights, stress, uncertainty, setbacks, hope, and determination.

And when we stand here looking at these pumpkins, we don't just see a field.

**We see hard work. We see perseverance. We see everything it took to get here.** 🎃🌱🚜❤️

With prime farming season here, we encourage everyone to shop at your local farm stands and farmers markets. ❤️

When you buy local, you're supporting more than just a business. You're supporting families, long days, early mornings, late nights, and hands that are worn, tired, and sometimes covered in dirt—but never stop working.

Take a moment to look at a farmer’s hands. Behind every pumpkin, vegetable, flower, and crop is hard work, sacrifice, worry, faith, and a whole lot of love. Farming isn't easy. We can't control the weather, the prices, the pests, or so many of the challenges that come our way. But we keep going.

Your support means more to us than you will ever know. Every purchase, every visit, every share, and every kind word helps support local families and keeps local farms going.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing local and supporting the people who work hard to grow for you. 🌱🚜❤️
