At Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op, we put local first. One of our Member benefits is 5% off local, everyday. You’ll find local products in nearly every aisle, from fresh produce and South Dakota-raised meats and cheeses to wellness items crafted right here in our community.

We define "local" as items grown or produced within the state of South Dakota or within a 200 mile radius of our Co-op.

Cooperatives lead the nation in local sales, and Breadroot is proud to be a part of that movement. In 2025, we saw a 20% increase in local sales. That's an extra $100,000 supporting the dreams and aspirations of our neighbors and friends.

Look for this "local" tag throughout the store if you're looking to add more local to your basket.
