Matt's Melons We offer the world famous "Woonsocket" melons along with sweet corn grown on our farm, garden produce from several Hutterite colonies and ALWAYS fresh.

We carry Woonsocket watermelon, muskmelon and pumpkins. We get tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, beans, parsnips and beats while in season and also carry some seasonal fruits such as peaches, cherries, and apples if the season allows. We also offer some of the best sweet corn around, grown on the family farm!! This will be our third year located on the Central States Fairgrounds on Campbell s

treet south of K-Mart. For the second year we will also have a stand on Omaha street just east of Mckie Ford a couple blocks. The Omaha street stand will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the Fairground stand will be open daily. If we arent open its either because of weather or we are temporarily out of produce. Wednesdays from 4 to 7 we are located at the entrance of the Rec Center out on Sheridan Lake Road.

UPDATE FOR THIS WEEK!

We have had a sudden change to our schedule this week. Im sorry but we wont be able to do Thursday this week.....but, since last sunday was such a success we will be be coming Sunday, September 13th from 10 to 2 pm. Or until we sell out. We will bring whatever watermelon we can find and I think possibly some sweet corn 1 more time. Even some pumpkins and of course some squash. We are going to do some pre sale items such as potatoes and TOMATOES again. Please wait until I post later this week with what we have and to pre order. Thank you.

I also need to add that we wouldn't be able to this without the support of NAPA!! I can't tell them enough times by myself! So next time your in there, tell them thank you for letting us set up!!! See you SUNDAY!!

Good morning!! Sorry for having to even post this!! I am aware of Bobs Red Barn attempting to set up in my spot. I apologize to my customers for the confusion. Just to be clear, we DO NOT set up in anyone else's location. THAT IS NOT how we operate. We will ONLY be at SHOPKO on the days we advertise. NEVER AT RUNNINGS. We pride ourselves on taking care of the customers that we have earned over the last 22 years of doing this. And a reminder. Everything we sell is SOUTH DAKOT GROWN!!!! we DO NOT go out of state to any produce auctions and purchase produce!!!!! EVER!! We will be open Thursday morning, September 3rd, 2026, with whatever we can round up. Its starting to look like fall! We will have a few watermelon, muskmelon/cantaloupe, and a good amount of sweet corn again. Also we will be bringing canning tomatoes. If you pre ordered TOMATOES we will have them ready for you. NOT TAKING PRE-ORDERS ON ANYTHING ELSE THIS WEEK. If your only there for tomatoes you can come to the tomato table and we'll get you taken care of. Thank you. See you Thursday morning!

We will be taking orders until Tuesday evening, the 1st of September, for canning tomatoes. We will be doing 1/2 bushel for $50. ( approximately 25 #) full bushel for $90. (Approximately #50). Send me a pm on here please. We will bring whatever else we can. Ill update what else we will have on Monday. Once again, please send me a PM if you would like to pre order TOMATOES this week. We will be open THURSDAY morning at 8 am. North Haines in the old shopko lot. Watermelon, $5 to $10 by size, muskmelon, $5 to $8 av. By size, and sweet corn $7 a dz. NO PRE-ORDERS this week. We will have alot of sweet corn again so you can still purchase large amounts on thursday. We'll just do it the old way. Ill also have a few bushel of tomatoes $3 a lb on slicers. $2 # for canners. No pre-orders this week on tomatoes. Again..... NO PRE-ORDERS THIS WEEK. See you Thursday morning!!
