A month ago…and Mother’s Day is already here..
I didn’t think I’d face this day so soon after losing her..
Last Mother’s Day I visited her in the hospital….i wanted so badly to take her for her favorite pizza but all I could do was give her $20 for food for when she hopefully went home…
I wish I knew then that would be our last Mother’s Day..I would have sat in that hospital room longer…
I wish I could tell her how far Chonka dans jams is going right now, she’d be SO happy…she’ll never know my business is succeeding..she’ll never get to sit in a coffee shop eating my goods thinking “my daughter made this”
And that hurts so deep.

She loved my baking and my jams, she raved to everyone she knew about how proud she was that I was pursuing what I love.
Now she’s gone and we’re progressing to a point I never thought I would and all I want to do is call my mom and tell her all about it, hear how happy she would be..

I love you mama.
Mother’s Day will never feel the same.
