Our little farm
Welcome to our face book page. Our farm is family owned and has been in our Smith family for 6 generations. We our located out of Rarden Ohio and about 15 mins from Piketon Ohio. How we got started doing barn weddings was from a family member who approached us about having a barn wedding. It was my dream to do something like this with the barn since my late father Dennis Smith built the barn back in 1991. He had plans to continue farming the land and use the barn for cattle. However he never got to complete the farming tradition and passed away in 1994. The barn set empty for many years and was mostly used for storage with basically filled top and bottom full of junk. Until 2014 we decided to clean it out and restore it with some special touches and had our nephew wedding in 2015. And that is how we started doing barn weddings. We enjoy meeting couples and preparing for their special day on our farm. We also grown and sell beautiful fall garden mum’s in the fall. We work non stop on the farm along with both our full time jobs. But it is our passion to continue doing this and pass the farm down to our children and grandchildren like it was from the beginning when the farm was given to my great grandfather Sexton Smith as a wedding gift. And was passed down to my grand parents Hershel and JoAnn Smith then passed down to my parents Dennis and Janice Smith and now it is passed down to me and my husband Roger and Trish Smith and just for the record we our not related. My husband is another set of Smith’s. We have 2 sons Eric and Dylan and our oldest son Eric and his wife Alisha lives also on our farm as well with our adorable grandson Grayson. People asked how did we get our name for our farm and instead of calling it the Smith Farm we wanted something special. We came up with our name because we live in the Country and God has blessed us and we our forever grateful for this. So welcome to Country Blessings Farm and we thank you for checking our page out and if we can do a beautiful wedding or special event please let us know. God bless!
