Well the strawberry slots for this evening filled in 7 minutes, so I deleted the post. We will do it again in a few days. The field is ripening really sporadically this year so going to have to keep the groups small for now. We will be able to do slots for the next few weeks. So keep an eye out.

Btw we are doing $4 a lb this year for strawberries!

OK! OK! I apologize for not responding to all the messages and comments. Honestly I don’t know when we are going to open until a day or 2 before. We will have to do limited openings where I only let a certain amount of people out. First one will be somewhere Saturday-Monday. Keep an eye out.

If you don’t get a chance to make it during any of the slots this June, we will have a lot more strawberries from our everbearing plants. Likely starting in July-August and will run through October!

Also! Since we won’t have the greatest June crop this year, there is a new strawberry/pumpkin farm down on seltice. They look to have a very well manicured field and might be opening next week. Lunceford farms.

One last thing! The blueberry crop is going to be great! Will likely open mid July.

Strawberries will be ready in about 2 weeks weather dependent. The crop looks very good this spring with very little freeze damage, however, the amount of plants we have at the mature stage is smaller than normal. Keep an eye out for picking windows!

We added about 3 miles worth of strawberry rows this spring. About half of those are everbearing so we will hopefully have a great mid summer-fall crop available as well! Next spring we should have a very good crop over all as we have employed a new w**d control method and all 3 miles of rows will be mature.

We got 4,500 plants in the ground yesterday. 10,500 to go. If anyone wants to trade planting for produce this summer message me. We will be planting Monday and Tuesday from about 8am to 2pm.

Photo dump! It doesn’t get any prettier than this.

A lot of you have probably heard, but we have officially closed on the purchase of Berry and Nut Farm!

Would like to say a special thanks to Joe and Sharon Culbreth for working with us on this purchase. Joe has been such an inspiration! He started these farms in his early 70’s, proving it’s never too late to go after your dreams and create something awesome. We have learned a lot from him and plan to see him at the farm often.

We picked up 70 egg layers yesterday! We plan to keep the roadside stand on Boekel well stocked by mid summer.

Excited for the upcoming season! As more and more of the fields come into maturity, our blueberry production will be doubling this year! 🫐

We are restarting a large portion of the strawberry field. We are trying a new method of w**d control which will hopefully work this time! We expect to have slightly less berries to pick this year unfortunately, but next year should be great! 🍓

We plan to do some major improvements on signage and parking which has been an ongoing struggle. 🪧 🚗

Nice weekend to get your pumpkins! Open all daylight hours, every day until sold out.

The hazelnuts are also open for collecting off the ground. Second pic shows the area. $5 a lb. Look up directions online to see how long you should dry them and what not.

We have orange, white, yellow pumpkins this year!

We kept things a little more adventurous and just cut paths through the patch to wander through. The left side of the patch has been precut, if you want to venture further, bring your own tool to cut the stem.

$.50 cents a lb with a $5 minimum.

Most will weigh 5-35 lbs each.

Park in the back facing east as if you were parking to pick strawberries. Do not block roadways.
