More success in the show pen today at the WRHA Spring Fling! Hilderbrand Performance Horses took 1st and 2nd in the Open Maturity Level 4 Class today.

Bringing home the shiny buckle and a check is ⭐️ SPARKANDBOONSMAL ⭐️, aka Scully, owned by Shelby Felix and ridden by Clay.

Coming in second, also shown by Clay, and bringing home a snazzy cavesson, 2 curb straps, and a check is ⭐️ ARC MAGNUM PI ⭐️. ARC Magnum PI is owned by Kenzie Johnston.

Both horses put down solid, smooth runs and are adding money to their LTE’s. HPH is so proud of the horses willingness to perform and their owners commitment to the program.

Thank you to Patti Marcotte for trusting Hilderbrand Performance Horses with her 11 year old elegant purebred Arabian mare, ⭐️ DB Treasurd Possesion ⭐️, aka Jewel. Jewel came to HPH, full of s***k and fire, with no reining experience as an 8 year old aged mare. She has developed into a beautiful Reiner, and has kept that perky personality too!

Jewel, piloted by Clay in the Gentlemen to Ride Class at the WRHA Spring Fling, just brought home her first check and has begun her LTE’s! Congratulations to Patti and Jewel!!

Congratulations to ⭐️ Sparkandboonsmal ⭐️ , aka Scully, for winning the WRHA Gentlemen to Ride Class with Clay at the WRHA Spring Fling! Scully, a talented 8 year old mare, is proudly owned by Shelby Felix.

This was Scully’s first class of the year! We are sure winning this beautiful belt buckle, and adding money to her LTE, is just the beginning for Scully in this upcoming show season!

Ava Bush put together a standout season for the Cowgirls in Reining. The junior finished with a 9-2 record, earned All-Big 12 honors and collected two MOPs along the way. Bush also recorded a career-high score of 74.5 against Baylor, highlighting her elite performance throughout the season.

Putting it out there for a great cause. The local Pony Club chapter is hosting an exciting fund-raising event at my barn on Friday, April 3rd, where they'll be offering tack cleaning services. We all know how challenging it can be to keep large skirted saddles clean. Let's rally behind these dedicated girls and support their projects this year.

Gratitude is expressed to attendees of the Jimmy van der Hoeven Clinic. As a gifted rider and clinician, he delivered outstanding instruction. Rider improvement was pronounced, and plans are underway for another visit this fall.

This 2023 red roan gelding is destined to make someone a wonderful all-around show horse! He is a big, handsome boy with a great mind. Nothing seems to bother him! He clips, ties and stands great for the farrier. He is great at new places, and easy to haul. He has had a lot of general riding, is safe, and can go in any direction. No maintenance. To no ones surprise, Ron has already proven himself in the halter show pen and won his current owner a couple first place buckles.

Haul him around with you wherever you want to go! Trail riding, AQHA level shows, or just some local fun- Ron is ready to be your next best friend. Super sweet, in your pocket type of horse that you'll love spending time with.

Would make an excellent all around horse or performance horse for 4H/WAHSET! Will continue in training until sold.
