UPDATE: DATES CORRECTED...

Teamwork! Please join deputies at churches throughout Charleston County on Saturday for the National Faith & Blue Weekend, a collaborative effort designed to get residents and law enforcement working together around their commonalities to build meaningful and valuable community relationships. Deputies at eight locations will be greeting church and community members and will clean litter from nearby roadways. We see it as a great way to accomplish something good as a team.

On Friday, CCSO also will participate in a multi-agency static display in the Citadel Mall parking lot in front of Target from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and see some of our equipment on display.

We also ask that churches in Charleston County say a prayer and fly yellow and blue balloons on Sunday in a show of unity.

The cleanup event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the eight places of worship below. Hope to see you out there!
