Yesterday was a work day in the blueberries.
We fertilized before the rain and checked the crop.
Sadly the last freeze did a lot of fruit damage.
There probably will be very limited fruit available but we won't know an estimate for a while.
We'll keep checking and we hope to serve as many customers as possible this year.

We're not sure yet how much freeze damage we have on the blueberries.
We had a 28 degree temperature spike this last Tuesday morning and the plants had all been bloomed out.
We will get an inspection tomorrow (Saturday) to determine the extent of the damage.
Let's all hope for the best.

We will be open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday this week. That's June 23, 25 and 28.
Hours are 7:00 till noon.
Remember to be sure and come in from Highway 78 on the east because FM 274 from the west is closed.

We will be open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. June 16, 18, 19, 20 and 21. 7:00 till noon each day. We will be closed on Tuesday the 17th.
Our hours are 7:00 till noon.

Remember to come from Highway 78 on the east because FM 274 is closed west of the berries for bridge replacement.

We had lots of berries knocked off last night but we still lots left.
We're here at the berries and open for business.

We will be open tomorrow June 7th and next week Monday thru Saturday June 9,10,11,12,13, and 14.
We prefer that you let us know ahead of coming but if you find at the last minute you can come then we'll be glad to have you without a reservation. We have lots of berries and need pickers.
Remember to check your route before you head this way. GPS may try to bring you in to from the west but that road has the bridge out 1/2 mile west of us. Be sure you come from Highway 78 on the east. We are 2.5 miles west of Highway 78 at 2933 FM274.
Remember, there's very limited or no cell service at the berry patch.

Due to quantity of berries and weather forecast we WILL be open this Friday and Saturday June the 6th and 7th.
The berries are loving this rain.

We had about 3/4" of rain here overnight. The ground is wet and the foliage is wet but we'll be open today for picking.

6/2/25 We have one gallon of berries already picked for sale. Price is $40 dollars for the picked berries.
We have berries for picking. If you pick, $20 per gallon.

Important notice:
Last year TXDOT had the bridge over Cottonwood Creek removed on FM 274 during berry season. This road closure required everyone to detour and come around through Ravenna and come from the west to get to us.
This year TXDOT has closed FM 274 by removing the bridge over Sandy Creek during berry season so there's no access from the west.
Please be aware of this closure and be sure you come to us from Highway 78 from the east. We're about 2.75 miles west of 78 on FM 274. (2933 FM274 is the address).
