Nutshell Acres is staunchly and forever anti-data center. Data centers destroy our water supply, soil, and air. They create noise that affects livestock and wildlife. They don’t provide any reasonable benefit to the local community. Any farmer, hobby or professional, should be against these monstrosities.
We are trying to get a measure on the Ohio ballot to create a constitutional amendment that would ban large (> 25mw) data centers in Ohio. To do this, we need over 700k signatures by July 1st.
If you are interested in signing the petition, please stop by today, 4/12 from 12 to 4 pm. We will be potting plants in our driveway and you don’t even have to get out of your car to sign. You do have to be a registered voter, but I can sign you up on the spot and your signature will be valid! You can be from any county!
Our address is 6469 Genevieve Rd Ravenna 44266. This won’t be the only signing event we’re hosting, but the sooner we get signatures, the better!
Also, attend your city, township, and county meetings to demand bans on all data centers! They work faster than a ballot measure, and taking both approaches is the best way to fight back!
