👩‍🌾❤️First I have to say….Thank you everyone for your encouragement, prayers and kindness. Y’all make me feel so very loved.

Just had a chat with my obgyn, we are still waiting on the hormone tests to find out if this thing is hormone negative or positive. Also we know that I have a variation that has a high likelihood of having a micro invasion that the needle biopsy likely missed but we will know more soon. Waiting on the surgeon/oncologist office to call and set up my first appointment for testing and scans. This hurry up and wait thing is killer. Y’all know I like things done … yesterday. 👩‍🌾😂🤣 I’m nosey yall!!! 😘

Ok the results are in and I think we have told everyone in our immediate family. I will know a whole lot more in the coming weeks.

It is a non-invasive ductal carcinoma in situ. Which means it has not spread and is still trapped in the milk duct, which is awesome considering it is 4 cm x 1.4 cm. It is stage zero grade 3. So it is fast growing.

I am not scared or worried. My only concern is if it is fed by lady hormones 😬…. No one wants to be around no lady hormones Audra…. For real!!! 😳 we should know more about that this coming week. ❤️ I will be back to work on Tuesday. And I am putting some cantaloupe in the farm stand today $2 each. 👩‍🌾🥰

Update… Justin and I will be picking cantaloupe this morning. Might pick some okra.
The biopsy did not go as planned. They took several samples of the mass… but were not able to get a biopsy of the axillary lymph node in question, due to too many vascular structures in the way. Fingers crossed we get good news today or tomorrow.

24 hours left. Then we start “the waiting “part 2. But I feel like part 2 is going to be much more tolerable. Tonight Justin will get home and Sam, Journey and Baby Tillie are coming home to have a sleep over. ❤️ I will keep y’all updated.
