🏁 On your mark… get set… HARVEST! 🍇

All the goodies are lined up and ready because harvest is getting close! The bins are staged, the equipment is ready, and we’re in the lab testing grape chemistry and watching the vineyard closely. Now we wait for the grapes to tell us when it’s time. 🍇

So let’s hear your guesses: Which grape variety do you think will be FIRST off the vine this year? 👀

We’re open until 9pm tonight, so stop by and check out all the harvest staging on your way in for wine and dinner. Seating is open indoors, on the patio and under the covered porch tonight.

One of our favorite times of the year is almost here! 🍇🍷

There’s something pretty special about seeing this space take on a completely different life for every celebration. 🤍

An intimate dinner gathered around one long table overlooking the vineyard. A bridal or baby shower filled with all the little details. Birthday and graduation celebrations. Rehearsal dinners. Weddings with the room completely transformed.

Whether it’s 20 people or 100, we love watching people make the winery their own for a few hours and celebrate the moments that matter to them.

And with the vineyard just outside those windows, there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. 🍇🍷

We host private events all year long at Youngblood Vineyard during every season, every style, big or small. But there’s really nothing quite as beautiful as enjoying the view of growing season and harvest right from these windows. Message us or check out our website for details on how to reserve your private event table or this gorgeous room. https://www.youngbloodvineyard.com/private-events

We did the impossible this week. 🍷🍇

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes of farming and running a business that isn’t glamorous or fun to talk about on social media, but this one deserves to be shared.

In January, the mobile bottling company from a Traverse City winery we had relied on for 7 years pulled the carpet out from under us with no notice and discontinued their services to Michigan and the entire Midwest in a single email. We were their very first customer and bottled with them every April without fail. We 100% relied on that service. This left us with thousands of gallons of wine sitting in tanks and barrels, taking up the space we need for harvest which is now only DAYS away.

A commercial bottling line is something you normally spend YEARS researching, planning and financially preparing for. We had less than three months!

It has been exhausting, astronomically expensive and absolutely not something we planned for this year, but somehow we pulled it off. This week we bottled our wine on our brand new bottling line for the first time!

We grow every grape. We process every drop. We now bottle every drop. And we sell it all right here on our 5th generation family farm.

Thank you to our staff and family who worked their butts off to make this happen, and especially to our customers who keep drinking our wine, bringing their friends and family here, celebrating here and coming back.

Thank you for drinking local and supporting our family farm. ❤️🍷 Dave even found some time to keg beer so we have something for everyone. We’ll be open 12-9pm today. See you soon!!

🦞 Our 6th Annual Lobster Boil! 🍷

A little rain didn’t stop us! We moved dinner under our string lit covered porch overlooking the vineyard which made for such a beautiful evening sheltered from the storm.

Some guests have joined us all six years, while others came for the very first time. That’s the magic of these long-table dinners. Come as strangers, leave as friends. ❤️

Delicious lobster, Youngblood wine, gorgeous views and great company. And a huge thank you to our amazing staff who worked so hard to make the evening special for everyone!

Cheers to year six! 🦞🍷

🍷 NEW WINES COMING SOON! 🍷

A huge thank you to Argent Tape and Label for pulling off our brand-new wine labels under a near-impossible deadline! When we needed them quickly, their team worked incredibly hard to make it happen for us.

Argent Tape & Label is the first and only label printing company we’ve ever used, going all the way back to our very first vintage bottled in 2019. Seven years later, they’re still right there with us as we get ready to bottle another round of Youngblood wines.

This is such a great example of one local business working hard to help another business succeed. ❤️

Thank you Colin, Wendy and Dave for another year of partnership and for going above and beyond when we really needed it. We appreciate you more than you know!

New labels are here. New wines are next. Stay tuned! 🍇🍷. We’re OPEN today until 9pm come see all our hard work netting and enjoy a bird-less view!

08/14/2026

If we look a little tired today… this is why! 😂🍇

It’s NETTING DAY in the vineyard! The thousands and thousands of starlings officially arrived this week, which means it’s time to protect those precious grapes we’ve worked all season to grow. 🐦➡️🍇

It’s a big, hot, exhausting job…but harvest is getting closer and these grapes are worth protecting!

We’ll be open 5–9 PM today assuming we can still walk by then. 😂🍷 Come see us!

🍇 CAN YOU NAME THAT GRAPE? 🍇

Here’s a little vineyard progress report! All six of our estate grape varieties are pictured, numbered 1–6, and they’re looking a little different as we get closer and closer to harvest. 💚💜

Think you know your Youngblood grapes? Drop your guesses below! 👇 Can you correctly match all six varieties to their numbers?

🍇 Marquette
🍇 Frontenac
🍇 Frontenac Blanc
🍇 Petite Pearl
🍇 Prairie Star
🍇 Itasca

And if this picture has you craving a vineyard view, we’re open today from 5–9 PM and it truly could not be more beautiful out here. ☀️🍷

Come grab a glass, enjoy the vineyard, and see how the 2026 vintage is coming along for yourself! 🍇
