Our first semi Fall kidding season was epic. All our goats have kidded and we’re excited to say the DOE FAIRY came!

We had four goats kid,and 4 does and 1 buck.
Our first Sable born on the farm, a doe!
3 alpines 2 does, 1 buck
and we have a mystery doe it’s Alpine or a new breed to us Recorded Grade!

Our best doe in our herd Rose, was a late May kid. We love the junior yearling class. Fast forward to 25-26 breeding season and our almost two year old Chaos hadn’t settled after three months. We didn’t want just one doe freshening so we decided to one of our 2025 does, and give her one last shot. She settled and was due yesterday. Another doe that was bred is Salandit who is the littermate sister to our doe Vespiquen who got her Grand Champion (dry leg) at Little Rock this year. As our September and October is filling up with shows we’re excited to add some just freshened does to the lineup.
This does mean we are skipping Ozark Empire this weekend due to kidding. We may be a little crazy for adding a kidding season when our friends are starting to dry their does off. 🤪

Registered French Alpine buck born in April 2024. DNA on file. He won Reserve Champion Alpine as a junior buck in Neosho! His dam has a lovely mammary system and was best doe in show at the sunflower doe down youth show.
