Took the 45 minute drive to Cameron, MO this weekend for the 2026 Cameron Elks BBQ Cook Off! We felt confident in everything we turned in and it seems the judges were not a fan of 3 of the meats. They were fans of our chicken though!

We got in and will be competing for the airport contract in the Made for KC BBQ contest in Weston, MO on August 21st & 22nd! Our plan is just to rinse and repeat after Cameron and get after it again!

Happy Father’s Day to all the BBQ and non-BBQ dads out there! We are lucky to get to celebrate Brandon and Robbie on Father’s Day! They also got to celebrate it yesterday when they got after it at the Knights of Columbus Smoke Off 4 Life in KCK! It felt great to fire up the drums after our 2 month hiatus! Love coming here and Josh puts on a great event!

We had our statistically best cook yet, breaking a team record with our highest total points ever at 690.7656! 📈

Massive shoutout and thanks to Chase with for being a great friend and letting us learn from him and it definitely paid off!

Our newest Tornado BBQ team member has arrived! Robbie & Kimberly welcomed Lottie Jean to the world on May 9th. She weighed a little bit more than a pork collar! Luckily she was born at the hospital Brandon works at so he got to come meat her!
