Usually the plants and I like to listen to some music with our morning water and coffee meeting, but this morning the rain was making its own music!

Spring is in full swing on the farm and we are busy getting ready for a fantastic season!

Farming happens rain or shine and we are so thankful for a crew that wasn’t afraid of a few rain drops and helped us to get the row cover over the sweet corn this weekend. Thanks to them we can keep these seeds a little warmer and hopefully get some early sweet corn! 🌽

Our meat is so delicious and nutritious because we focus heavily on the health and nutrition of our animals. We mix our own feeds with recipes made for us by livestock nutritionist, and we use ingredients that are all non-GMO. While we raise and harvest the corn, oats and sunflower seeds ourselves, when we need ingredients that we haven’t raised we still get them from Maine sources!
