Very dark in color, almost as dark as Coke. No Doubt this is a double oak as big oak just about jumps out of the glass. A delicate minty note and cola come and go with each sniff. At first the palate is sweet and thick and then a flood of spices fills the mouth, cloves, cinnamon, and white pepper coat every taste bud. On the finish, vanilla and charred oak provide a perfect balance for the endless spice rack. At only 105 proof this one drinks like a heavy weight yet remains seamlessly harmonious.

A Fairly intense color for its age hinting at maturity and concentration. Quite a complex and nuanced nose shows hints of green apple, citrus oils, and Mocha. The palate is full bodied with chocolate covered fruits and just the right amount of drying oak to keep everything in harmony. It's almost hard to tell where the finish starts, even after swallowing each sip the flavors seem so intense it's almost like it's still in your mouth. Overall, a beautiful bourbon that can rattle the brain picking out nuances or just as easily sipped causally with its smooth as silk personality.

Quite an inviting bright copper color. The nose takes a little patience but with a little time and air aromas of black teas, roasted coffee beans and bitter orange waft about. Just one sip and it reveals its true self as a rye whiskey. A delicate spicy character and mellow herbaciousness play joyfully with that unmistakable roasted character. The lingering finish seems like a competition between classic rye notes and milk chocolate infused coffee to see which flavor will last the longest on the palate. This is a truly unique and totally crushable rye that drinks beautifully straight up, no water needed for this one
