Monologue of the day!
I've waited to post until the final doe came home. I splurged and bought Rocky three new girl friends since he worked his way out of a job here seeming as I only had two does he could breed to. He is too nice and frankly too old to sell. But he's not too old to have a job in the fall. A huge thank you to Heather at Quarter Mile Farms for entrusting me with these beauties!! They are all ready giving me more milk than i know what to do with…ive been making alot of caramel!!

I had no intentions of ever buying a doeling kid ever. But this one I couldnt resist. She is a Polled (natually hornless) French doeling. I took a 10 year break from goats due to alot of disappointments and life demands. But I restarted started my small Alpine herd 3 years ago with one Polled American yearling. She had a polled doeling last year and each of them gave me a polled doeling this year. But now I have a French doeling to work on a French polled herd. Im excited for her and the role she has here. A huge thank you to Caprice Acres for her!
