The United Suffolk Sheep Foundation will award up to twenty-five $1,000 grants to youth ages 8-16 to purchase a Suffolk ewe. The ewe grant program is designed to help youth get started in raising registered Suffolk sheep and is limited to youth who currently do not own Suffolks. The youth must pay the first $250 of the purchase price and the balance up to $1,000 will be paid by USSF.

This is an excellent opportunity for youth who are interested in Suffolk sheep. Youth must submit an application for the program by February 1. Full details on this great program and the application can be found at https://suffolks.org/ewe-lamb.html.

I would like to take a moment to thank all of the youth exhibitors from both Centre and Union Counties who selected our farm to purchase their show lambs this year. We are now taking orders for fall freezer lambs. If you're interested in purchasing a freezer lamb for the fall, P.M., text or call me. Pre ordering is not necessary, however it insures I keep enough lambs back to finish so they are ready and there will be less of a wait time.
Freezer lambs are $230.
