We've wrapped up week 2 of Miss Edie’s Summer Book Club. 🐎 📖 🤎

It's been such a blessing to have these kiddos join us here at G&C Acres❣️

All the critters are sweet, the garden is growing and the beautiful summer mornings of July have been wonderful to share with eachother.

This Wednesday we will begin our next session for 2 weeks. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am to noon.

Only a few openings, so jump in and join us!

Book Clubs have OFFICIALLY kicked off!

Our first group on the Farm, are 5 and 6 year olds, and we're sure grateful to have them.

We've had two great days of barn chores, little horse handling, read-aloud, snacks and crafts.

One more day left for this group and their looking forward to some saddle time!

There is one more week available [NEXT WEEK] for this age group, this summer. Check the link on our announcement post (and the comments) for booking!

Welcome to G and C Acres! 🐴🌿

Hi friends! My name is Coco, though many of my favorite little people know me simply as “Ummie.”

For more than 35 years, I’ve had the joy of working with children through early childhood education and care. Helping young people learn, grow, and gain confidence has been a lifelong passion of mine.

Now, I’m excited to combine that passion with my love for horses! Here at G and C Acres, you’ll meet Miley, Edie the Mini Horse, and Tuff. Together, we’ll be offering fun, hands-on experiences that encourage learning, imagination, responsibility, and a love for animals.

In the coming days, we’ll be sharing details about our summer camps book clubs, intro to horsemanship classes, and other opportunities for children to learn and grow in a faith-filled, family-friendly environment.

Thank you for following along as we begin this new adventure. We can’t wait to welcome you to the farm!
