KA’s Coral Sea and KA’s Apricot Jam are just over here busting out blooms like crazy 😍

Last year I only had a couple of each growing and they got shaded out by some taller plants and weren’t able to give me many blooms. This year I made sure to plant them in the right spot and man are they happy!

If you like peonies, you must grow double tulips! Their layered petals give that fuller look similar to a peony. This variety is called Dreamer. Isn’t she lovely? 🥰

Tulips are so incredibly easy to grow. In most growing zones you can simply bury them in a few inches of soil in the fall, leave them be (no need to irrigate or water!) and come spring you’ll be blessed by their rewarding beauty.

If you want tulips next spring believe it or not, right now is the time you want to start ordering your fall bulbs. Johnny’s seed is the best source I’ve found if you want good pricing at smaller home garden quantities. My friend is also doing a preorder for fancy bulbs and the varieties and pricing are fantastic!

🌼Name Change & More Major Announcements!🌼

You may or may not have noticed, but The Paisley Homestead is now The Paisley Flower Farm! This new name more accurately reflects the direction of the farm with less animals and a whole lot more flowers. Don’t worry, I still have my chickens though😉

However, I am prayerfully stepping into bigger plans with this hobby farm of mine! One of them being my first official major tuber sale, which I am thrilled to announce will be Tuesday Feb 18th at 6PM PST!

I have almost 100 varieties I will be offering and you can preview some of them right now at thepaisleyflowerfarm. com. Right now everything will show as “sold out”. A few hours before the sale I will put up a password wall while I update inventory. The password wall will be removed promptly at 6:00 PM PST. No password needed.
