Gotta love what you can do with kydex. Since this state says archery deer hunting negates my 2nd amendment right, I needed a back up blade. This sheath keeps it very handy without getting in the way.

I know it’s hot right now but cooler weather is coming! That means class season is almost here!!! We officially kick off with the brave soldiers class(private) this Saturday!
The next available class date will be October 3rd!
This will be an intro/level 2 class. Class spots are $100 each, payment reserves your spot(s). Class size is limited to 6-8 people and tend to fill quickly.
In class we work as a group through the steps of hand forging and heat treating a 7-8” overall length, through tang knife. Each student leaves with the knife they forged with their own hands! 14-18 years of age require an adult chaperone. Kids 13 and under can take a “kids” class, if your interest please holler at me!
Looking forward to meeting and hosting you and yours! Appreciate each and every one of you! We have currently hosted 461 students, yet to have one leave without a smile!

Where it all started for KG’s Hand Forged, roughly 26 years ago. My 1st forge was hardly a forged. Nothing more than a Bernzomatic propane torch and a soft fire brick. I forged around a dozen knifes to completion before ponying up to build a Venturi burner forge. I had a scrap of rail road rail for an anvil. Definitely humble beginnings. I didn’t even have a belt grinder, everything was done with files and hand sanding!
Really makes me appreciate what I have now!

I talk about “convince bends” in class on a regular basis. This is an example of when/how to use. Bend it, get it out of the way and do your work. Then bend it back like it never happened.
