We lost another great one today, 113 “Chloe” was Payten’s very first show heifer she owned. This girl did her fair share of winning in the show ring, but where she excelled was being a cow. She never missed a beat when in came to raising a good one, and no matter what color of bull you bred her with we knew that calve would be black and white and a heifer. Each of her calves have held their own in the show ring in many different breeds. The most recent being Champion Bred and Owned Shorthorn Plus Heifer at the OKC State Fair in 2024.

Three of her daughters remain on the farm, two proven cows in the pasture and Payten’s blue roan heifer is the show barn.
