Mountain Laurel is an absolute favorite harbinger of spring for me. The gorgeous collection of purple flowers, the sweet grapey smell, and happy presence of hungry pollinators make it a strong contender in my book. How about you?

Honestly, I’ve been on edge for a while.
I feel I must say, out loud, that I love my immigrant neighbors and friends. I love my gay and trans neighbors and friends. Anything that disregards their humanity, I am against. We cannot watch as children are incarcerated, people are kidnapped, protesters are murdered. Non negotiable.

The Sulphur Cosmos are the happening spot every morning. They are so beautiful and huge. This row is probably 8ft tall! I’m so happy to see the Monarch butterflies getting some nectar on their travels, and the bumble bees just sleep where they eat.🧡🤍🖤
