What exactly is an in-home water test?
An in-home water test is a simple, on-site evaluation of your home’s water. A water treatment professional tests a sample from your kitchen sink, pressure tank, or another water source to identify common water concerns.
Depending on your water source, the test may check for:
• Hardness
• Iron
• pH
• Total dissolved solids
• Chlorine
• Odor, color, and clarity
We also take time to understand your household’s water use, inspect any existing equipment, and discuss the specific problems you are experiencing.
An in-home test is a great first step for identifying general water conditions and determining whether treatment may help. Testing for health-related contaminants such as bacteria, nitrates, arsenic, or PFAS may require a separate certified laboratory test.
Better water starts with understanding what is in it. Contact Culligan of Red Wing to schedule your in-home water test.
