A Million Micros

Ok guys, you know I'm not the one to ask for favors but here we go.

My best friend is sick. This woman has been my rock up here since we first met back in 2018 at a Girl Scout recruitment event at my kids school and together we have gone from volunteers to leaders and she has even picked up service unit roles. She has 2 amazing children (13 &14) and has been fighting her sons Angiocentric glioma brain cancer for 7 years. Linda loves fiercely and fights for her friends and family with everything she has and now life has come through and upended everything.

Last Monday she went to the ER in excruciating pain and they immediately admitted her and scheduled gallbladder surgery, Tuesday they did a last minute CT scan and found stage metastatic cancer. At this point it is believed to be pancreatic cancer however she won't know for sure until after she gets a biopsy in San Francisco. Right now we are hoping for a miracle once she gets to the better doctors because the doctors up here gave her 6-12 months.

The last week has been filled with tears, fears and an attempt to plan. Linda would like to plan and pay for her own funeral ahead of time so her husband and children aren't left with that burden to carry.

I know times are tough for everyone right now but if you can donate even a dollar it will help raise her campaign higher in the search. If you can't donate please share, it would mean the world to me, Linda, and her family.

If you would like to pack more of a punch into your dog’s diet, feed them microgreens. These tiny plants hold more nutritional value than their mature vegetable counterparts. microgreens contain lots of vital nutrients which include the various vitamins, minerals, proteins, dietary fiber, folate, antioxidants, & pigments. You won't find some of these nutrients/minerals inside pet food.

When it comes to microgreens, their tiny size definitely doesn’t matter much. Researchers found that 25 types of microgreens have higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, carotenoids, phytonutrients & antioxidants than mature vegetables.
