Please don’t offer a lower price when purchasing goats from breeders. A lot of thought and effort go into pricing and a lot of time and effort go into raising goats.

PS: I am only charging $100 for wethers right now πŸ€ͺ

For those wondering what the average cost of a myo is. Before the gasps of outrage or lowballers saying it's just a goat, just please hear me out. I searched and traveled long distances to add show quality genetics to our herd. I spend time and $$$ to offer top notch care and attention to our goats daily, especially our mamas. Feed/ minerals, meds/vet care, daily enrichment, 24/7 labor and delivery care team. Plus the hours of hands on energy I put into every kid that leaves our homestead. All shows in the price. BUT also my want to share this amazing breed with as many people as possible keeps us moderate in the middle to low price range. Just know I've paid or will pay WAY more for some of mine then I've ever priced one πŸ˜†

Annie bell likes to play hide and seek in the most random places with her kid. This is a spot (last year's garden/the carport barn the yr before that) that is on my to do list. I've been pulling dirt for this years garden and been a bit messy with pilling up fencing and wood from those previous projects. Also it's one of the only messy spots in the whole field!

We have this muscovy hen, Mrs. Covy, that just seemed to be a loner for the last few yrs. Well this spring she went broody but due to her dislike of the main flock the eggs weren't fertile. Around the same time I took in 5 "easter" ducklings someone changed their mind on iykyk. They were wks old but the minute Mrs. Covy laid eyes on them they were HER ducklings πŸ₯° Funny thing is we took in 4 more about a wk later and she refused to even share a pool with them πŸ˜†
