We never really know the impact art will make. You set out with intention but often interpretation is skewed. My intention often captures nature, vibrancy, light, etc. I would like to think it captures what is reflected in my home and my children’s childhood. Today while setting up a paint day, Maylee joined me in her next collection. While i have a colorful mess, she is constructing value, depth, and shape. She worked very hard today until she broke out in a dance break. Real life magic happens here. That is something i hope is translated through my work. And i hope it outlives me. The joy of creating. 💗
