THE FALL FOLDS HAVE ARRIVED!

Woodland & Blue and Orchard & Sage are officially available for pre-order for our October 23 & 24 events!

And we're doing something a little different with these two.

We know some of our folds wander a little further from tradition, so we wanted to give you a chance to try them hot before committing to stocking your freezer!

Woodland & Blue
Savory ground beef, mushrooms, blue cheese, potatoes, and a touch of balsamic. Rich, earthy, and just a little adventurous.

Orchard & Sage
Seasoned ground pork, roasted apples, creamy goat cheese, and sage. A little sweet, a little savory, and a whole lot of fall.

For the October 23 & 24 events, both folds will be available HOT ONLY. It's the perfect opportunity to see which one deserves a spot in your freezer.

Quantities are limited, and pre-ordering is strongly encouraged! Once they're gone, they're gone.

Can't make either event? We do have a handful available frozen for our other pickup locations, but those quantities are extremely limited, too.

🎃 A Change in Our Pumpkin Fest Plans 🎃

Well, this isn’t the announcement we were hoping to make!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, EmberFold will be unable to attend the Wilson Barn Pumpkin Fest on October 10 or October 17.

We were really looking forward to participating in our very first Pumpkin Fest, so we’re especially disappointed to miss out on the fun.

But just because we won’t be there doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be! There will still be plenty of delicious food, wonderful vendors, and fall festivities to enjoy. And it looks like Mother Nature has some beautiful weather planned for this Saturday!

We hope you’ll head out, enjoy the festivities, and support all the folks who work so hard to make these events possible.

We’ll have to make our Pumpkin Fest debut another year!

We just got really excited about the Woodland & Blue Fold.

And yes, we know we’re probably supposed to love all our pasties and folds equally. Apparently, we don’t.

Woodland & Blue has officially become our new favorite. And we just finalized the gravy we’ll be serving with it at our October events.

That gravy may have pushed us over the edge.

We’ll be bringing Woodland & Blue HOT to upcoming events in Milan and Westland this month. Check out our events to see where we’ll be and come get one while they’re hot!

Want some for the freezer? Frozen Woodland & Blue will be available in November in limited quantities. And when we say limited, we mean it. There’s only one Jamie back there making all of these things.

In the meantime, we’re still selling our frozen pasties and folds and bringing them to Southgate, Milan, Belleville, Westland, and Redford every week.

So come find us in October for the Woodland & Blue Fold with gravy, keep stocking your freezer with your EmberFold favorites, and maybe save a little room for November.

We have a feeling Woodland & Blue is going to be trouble.

Here’s how it works:

Pick one of the challenges below, grab an EmberFold pasty or Fold, and take a photo or short video completing it. Post it in the comments or send it to us through Messenger.

THE CHALLENGES

1. Campfire Pasty — Take your EmberFold camping or enjoy it around a campfire.

2. Game Day Pasty — Football + EmberFold. Team gear and excessive enthusiasm encouraged.

3. The Pasty Wedding — Cut your pasty together and feed each other a bite like you’re cutting your wedding cake. We really hope someone does this.

4. Pasty & Pajamas — Pajamas. Couch. EmberFold. That’s it.

5. Date Night — Give your EmberFold the romantic dinner it deserves.

6. Pasty With a View — Take your EmberFold somewhere with a view worth sharing.

7. Aggressively Fall — Pumpkins. Flannel. Leaves. Bonfire. C***r mill. Make it so fall we can practically smell October.

8. The Haunted Pasty — Costumes, pumpkin carving, Halloween parties, spooky decorations, haunted houses — show us how your EmberFold does Halloween. Extra appreciation for anyone who actually puts a pasty in costume.

9. Tailgate Pasty — Stadium, parking lot, driveway or wherever you’ve declared a tailgate.

10. The First Bite — Introduce someone to their first EmberFold and capture the reaction.

11. Gravy vs. Ketchup — Pick a side and defend your position. Video strongly encouraged.

12. Five-Star Pasty — Plate an EmberFold like you’re about to charge someone $47 for it.

13. Make an EmberFold Commercial — You have 30 seconds. Sell us our own pasties.

14. Freestyle — Have a better idea? Show us. We want to see what you come up with.

Photos are great. Videos are even better. Bad acting is strongly encouraged.

We’ll be sharing some of your submissions on our page, so by sending yours to us, you’re giving EmberFold permission to repost it.

There’s nothing to win here except bragging rights, possible internet fame, and whatever completely meaningless award we decide your submission deserves.

Yesterday was great and today was a flop. We put 5x the seasoning in the pasty filling than we needed, was short on meat, the meat we did have was cut the wrong size by the butcher, and cleanup felt like it took forever. We made 1/2 the amount of pasties in the same amount of time as yesterday and had an extra person!

We happily ended the day and will go back fresh and ready for the next time. Anybody big salt and pepper fans? Half off if you want them. 🤣

We’re gonna sleep good tonight!

Our help for the day taking a break and posing for a pic. We had a record production day for the Meats and Roots Pasty. We’re preparing for all of the upcoming events. We’ll repeat it today for the Signature Beef Pasty. We’re gonna sleep good!

Somewhere, someone left a comment asking about gift card options. We cannot locate the comment again to respond, so we’ll post here and hope they see it.

Unfortunately, gift cards are not an option we have yet, but do hope to implement in the future.
