The last 3 does due to have their maternity clips are completed along with their Covexin-8 pregnancy shot have been done.

Breeding season has been underway here at Humfleet's Nubian Dairy Goats in Redmond, Oregon and our breeding list for 2025-2026 is updated on our website at https://humfleetsnubiandairygoats.weebly.com/planned-breedings.html

We are only going to kid out 8 maybe 9 does this next spring. That is about 7 milkers less then we used to have in the past.

Hopefully the workload will be much easier for me as all the things that happened earlier this year and also getting Covid real bad, I will be able to handle the babies that will be arriving.

Even though I have been struggling to get healthy again. I am excited as much as I could be for Noah to hang the 2026 Son Of A Buck Show Calendar that we advertised in showing what our Registered Purebred Nubian Dairy Goat herd has accomplished since Noah, and I became co-owners 27 years ago.

I am sharing what our September month looks like for all to enjoy and learn about our herds accomplishments.

We here at Humfleet's Nubian Dairy Goats in Redmond, Oregon decided to continue Milk Test for 2026 for now. We have submitted an application with ADGA to continue official Milk Testing.

Time will tell if 2026 will be our last year for Milk Test.

Hopefully soon ADGA will start to once again award Milk Stars, but time will tell.

So, we did it. Humfleet's Nubian Dairy Goats (Marlene and Noah Thorp #1479905) have submitted our application to be a Host Herd for 2026 ADGA Linear Appraisal at our farm here in Redmond, Oregon. We hope that my health stays good so if we do get scheduled and that would be wonderful. Let us know if you’re interested in coming.

Noah and I here at Humfleet's Nubian Dairy Goats in Redmond, Oregon are extremely proud to announce that Elite 2*M (Pending) Brighthaven Nott's Dignity has once again made the 2025 Winter ADGA Nubian Elite Does List at 98% Percentile and is number 91 on that list out of 231 Nubian Milkers on Milk Test. This is Dignity's eighth time making the Elite Does List. 🙂

Dignity is a coming 9 year old. We are sharing udder pictures of Dignity as a 2 Year Old taken by her previous owner. We have never done any updated udder pictures as Health issues and Life got in the way for us to do that. Dignity came to our farm in September of 2021 as a 4 Year Old Milker if I remember the month right.

We do want to wish all those who have Elite Does and Sires on the 2025 Elite Lists for their breeds a great big CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Noah and I here at Humfleet's Nubian Dairy Goats in Redmond, Oregon are extremely proud to announce that Elite 1*M DKGH Rock It Endless Summer has made the 2025 Winter ADGA Nubian Elite Does List at 96% Percentile and is number 175 on that list out of 231 Nubian Milkers on Milk Test. This is Summer's first time making the Elite Does List. 🙂

Summer is a coming 6 year old. We are sharing udder pictures of Summer as a 2 Year Old. We have never done any updated udder pictures as Health issues and Life got in the way for us to do that. Summer came to our farm in September of 2021 as a Bred Yearling Milker if I remember the month right.

Also, Summer's Grand Sire has made the 2025 Winter ADGA Nubian Elite Sire List at 85th Percentile and is number 29 on that list out of 30 Nubian Sires.

We do want to wish all those who have Elite Does and Sires on the 2025 Elite Lists for their breeds a great big CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
