Christmas Tree Season
Opening Day: Nov 28th
Hours: Open Daily 10am-8pm Our family planted the first Christmas trees in 1978.

The heritage of McMurtrey's Red-Wood Christmas Tree Farm began in the Sammamish valley over 40 years ago. "Grandpa" Larry McMurtrey recognized its rich ecology and began growing vegetables in 1974. He anticipated the need for protection and worked to preserve the region as an agricultural reserve. Appropriately so, our valley has evolved into a destination to enjoy both Washington’s natural beauty

and agricultural bounty. Since the inaugural unsheared firs, the farm has become a favorite event for many in our area. As the current owners, we (the youngest McMurtrey daughter and son-in-law, Jana and Pablo Sifuentes), look forward to the holiday season all year. Prepping the wagon, listening to Christmas carols, and hanging lights all signal we will see familiar faces and meet new friends. Almost in our 40th year, we are blessed to be a part of your holiday traditions: a family wagon ride, choosing a beautiful Christmas tree, stirring hot chocolate with candy canes, drinking mulled cider, and decorating your Christmas tree.
