Pala Casino has one of the best buffets for local casinos. What puts them over the top is their dessert bar....so many selections. Not just baked goods including french macarons, but those French pattisseri desserts, pies and cakes, crepes with whatever you want in it, ice cream sundae bar and even halo halo (nod to the pinoys who come to casino)😃

I keep seeing these places pop up and it's a hit or miss. POKE generally is a hit. Some places however is a miss...not much variety, small portions, seafood not as fresh. POKE in case you haven't tried, is like a sushi bowl. You have rice, seafood, and seaweed in different forms, ie salad, flakes, etc. When I worked in OC last year, I had my fill of pretty good POKE. Their process was like subway style where you get to customize it. First you pick your base - rice or salad, then the seafood, then sauce/s, sides (my favs crab meat, seaweed salad and masago, then finally topping...sesame mixed with seaweed flakes for me! Mmmmm!
